There is a Season Turn, Turn, Turn....

Spring rain really isn't going to melt us like we were the Wicked Witch of the East in "Wizard of Oz!" So, bring your umbrellas and enjoy an evening stroll and begin "Singing In The Rain!"

"Walk In the Rain" - watercolor print - by Betty Geller

Enjoy the rain because rain fills our reservoirs so we may have drinking water, water for bathing and cleaning, and even helps with lakes and the ocean so that we can have fun - water skiing, swimming, jet skiing and just lounging on a raft. A wonderful introduction for summer!

And there is a season turn, turn, turn...

Just before winter arrived, Walnut Beach had received a new neighbor - Wild Expressions, a florist, moved to Walnut Beach sharing space with Collected Stories! And brought with them beautiful scents that can be smelled year round! We can smell spring and summer in the fall and winter! We can even take home with us those same scents so we can just enjoy all the seasons year round!

In February, Firehouse Gallery opened for the new year...

And there is a season turn, turn, turn...

Spring has sprung with the opening of businesses for the season: Walnut Beach Creamery opened in April for the new season...for now they are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Noon until 10 pm...they will stay open longer starting on Memorial Day.
